Nicole and Daniel's wedding at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida, was intentionally designed from start to finish...
Working with Nicole and Daniel was an absolute dream from their South Beach engagement session to their stunning wedding at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach. Their love for vintage charm and artistic flair made both days unforgettable and full of unique details that truly reflected their personalities and vision. Here’s a recap of this stylish couple's journey from engagement to wedding day.
Engagement Session: Retro Glam in South Beach
Nicole and Daniel’s engagement shoot took place in front of the iconic Avalon Hotel in South Beach, Miami, which set the perfect scene for their vintage-inspired session. The vibe was editorial, glamorous, and full of retro charm, reminiscent of old Miami Beach.
Nicole totally embraced the retro theme with her outfit—she rocked a birdcage veil, chic lace gloves, and retro sunnies that made her look like she stepped out of a classic Hollywood film. Daniel complemented her style perfectly with his cool look, creating a timeless aesthetic that truly captured the essence of South Beach’s retro vibe.
Every shot felt like it could have been on the cover of a vintage editorial magazine, with the Avalon’s classic neon sign and the vintage car adding to the scene’s nostalgic energy. It was such a fun and creative session that showcased Nicole and Daniel’s love for all things vintage, while still being modern and uniquely them.
The Wedding day at the Norton Museum of Art
Nicole and Daniel’s wedding day was just as thoughtful and beautiful as their engagement session. Shot by our associate team, this stunning wedding at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida, perfectly combined Nicole’s elegant vision with the venue’s artistic backdrop.
The day started with getting-ready moments that were full of fun and laughter. Nicole chose a lace two-piece set to wear as she got ready with her bridesmaids adding a playful twist to the pre-wedding photos. Meanwhile, Daniel and his groomsmen had their own fun, with the groom posing in a robe for some cool candid shots before the wedding festivities began.
Before the ceremony, Nicole and Daniel decided on a first look in the Norton Museum’s beautiful gardens. The anticipation and joy on their faces as they saw each other for the first time were captured in those sweet, emotional moments. We then moved on to couples’ portraits, making use of both the museum’s outdoor gardens and its incredible indoor spaces. A vintage Cadillac made an appearance for more playful shots with the couple, adding a touch of glamor to their wedding portraits. The wedding party soon joined in for group photos at the venue, and everyone was in high spirits, ready to celebrate. With the artistic beauty of the Norton Museum as the backdrop, the photos had a timeless, editorial quality that matched the couple’s vision.
The ceremony then took place in the museum’s sculpture garden, providing a serene yet artistic setting for Nicole and Daniel’s vows. Nicole’s dress, a stunning gown from Boca Bridal, was a showstopper as she walked down the aisle. The aisle was lined with white roses and baby’s breath, leading to an acrylic gazebo adorned with even more white roses and baby’s breath. The clean, minimalist aesthetic was the perfect touch, allowing the natural beauty of the venue to be appreciated.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour featuring thoughtful details planned by Nicole. The bride designed a margarita wall that doubled as a seating chart, so guests could grab a drink and find their seats at the same time—such a fun, creative touch! They also had a champagne tower, adding a luxe feel to the start of the evening. The reception decor was stunning, featuring a black-and-white theme with an abundance of white florals and candlelit vases that added a romantic glow to the space. The black and white checkered dance floor added a bold, retro flair, while greenery and disco balls hanging from the ceiling gave the room a fun and playful atmosphere.
Nicole and Daniel made a grand entrance to the sound of a live saxophone player, kicking off the night in style. Throughout the evening, Nicole had two outfit changes, keeping the night fresh and exciting. One of the highlights was their espresso martini bar, which kept everyone energized as they danced the night away. The party continued late into the night with family and friends dancing under the disco balls. It was truly a celebration of love, style, and joy, reflecting everything that makes Nicole and Daniel such a special couple. Congratulations to Nicole and Daniel on their beautifully unique and unforgettable wedding!
