Monique and Matt’s classic spring wedding at the Adams Estate, a Central Florida wedding venue, was absolute perfection! Located between Orlando and Tampa, in the cute and quiet town of Lake Alfred, is the elegant Adams Estate. The Adams Estate sits on just over 24 acres of wide-open, private outdoor space. Surrounded by orange groves and multiple lake views the Adams Estate is the perfect picturesque backdrop for your wedding day. Originally built as a private residence by Dr. Charles W. Adams and his wife, the Adams Estate has carefully maintained its timeless grace and classic charm while also serving as a gathering place for private weddings and celebrations over the years.
With multiple lakefront venues and overnight accommodations on the property, the Adams Estate is the perfect location to celebrate your wedding day or weekend! From the 1942 Estate House itself, to the restored Boathouse, the lakefront ceremony garden, and even the brick terrace;our wedding will truly be unforgettable. The Adams Estate can accommodate 54 guests if you are looking to stay on the property with your friends and family for a full wedding weekend experience! On the property you will find eight cottages as well as eight Veranda and Balcony suites with amazing views of the surrounding landscape to offer a private retreat for you and guests to enjoy, which is exactly what our couple Monique and Matt did.
Monique and Matt started their wedding day by getting ready with loved ones and then taking their bridal portraits. The bride and groom did a first look and a private vow reading. We really love when couples make time throughout the wedding day to intentionally spend time together, just the two of them for special moments like these. Their ceremony then took place at the Adams Estate ceremony garden lakefront venue. The Revel Co took a very organic and natural approach with the floral design and created beautiful floral arrangements to compliment the space which featured a lot of greenery to blend in with the beautiful landscape surrounding the venue. After the ceremony finished, we took some wedding party photos, then took a couple more portraits around the venue. As an editorial-style wedding photographer, I loved capturing a mix of candids and intentionally posed photos throughout the day. The reception was hosted on the brick terrace, again with incredible waterfront views. We really enjoyed our day capturing the love Monique and Matt share and look forward to returning to the Adams Estate soon!
