Florida has some of the most stunning modern wedding venues! While the state is known for its beaches, we also have modern and upscale wedding venues to choose from here in Florida. From elegant mansions to industrial blank canvases to Italian vineyard style, there is something for everyone!
As a Florida wedding photographer and videographer, we have had the opportunity to work at each of these venues personally, and many on multiple occasions. These are some of our favorite Florida wedding venues to work at! Many of these venues also have indoor options, which is essential for weddings during the rainy season here in Florida.
From Saint Augustine, to Orlando, to the Tampa area – this list is mainly composed of central Florida wedding venues, with a handful in the Southwest Florida area (just a bit south of Tampa).

The Howey Mansion – Howey in The Hills, Florida
The Howey Mansion is located in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida, not far from Orlando. This historic estate was restored to host weddings and events in central Florida. The Howey Mansion features beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows in the indoor space, an expansive front lawn for ceremonies, and an enclosed courtyard. This Florida wedding venue can host up to 400 guests.

Oxford Exchange – Tampa, Florida
Oxford Exchange is a Tampa wedding venue that is fully indoors, which is great for summer events in Florida! The space includes a champagne bar, tear bar and coffee bar along with their restaurant and event space. The atrium provides beautiful natural light coming in from the skylight and an intimate dining space for post-ceremony. Oxford Exchange can host up to 175 guests depending on the ceremony location.

Powel Crosley Estate – Sarasota, Florida
Powel Crosley Estate is a Sarasota wedding venue that sits right on the water. This historic mansion with indoor and outdoor location options. The back patio area is the most popular for ceremonies! Since this venue is right on the water, bring bug spray! The maximum guest count at Powel Crosley Estate is 800 guests for a fully outdoor event.

The Mulberry – New Smyrna Beach, FL
The Mulberry in New Smyrna Beach is a modern barn venue with clean white elements and lush greenery. Their getting-ready spaces are bright and airy with lots of bright walls, and the white exterior of the barn puts a more upscale spin on the traditional barn venue. The Mulberry in New Smyrna Beach has an outdoor ceremony space, and an expansive indoor space for a reception, as well as an outdoor covered area for cocktail hour. This venue can host up to 150 guests.

Haus 820 – Lakeland, Florida
Haus 820 is a Lakeland wedding venue with a blank canvas style of architecture. This renovated warehouse’s interior features large windows and white brick walls that you can style and personalize. Haus 820 also has an outdoor patio space for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The venue can host up to 500 guests (seated capacity).

The Balcony Orlando – Orlando, Florida
The Balcony Orlando is an upscale rooftop wedding venue located in the heart of downtown Orlando. The venue includes both outdoor and indoor spaces for your ceremony or reception. The venue can host up to 250 guests outdoors.

The Clay Theatre – Green Cove Springs, Florida
The Clay Theatre is a restored theatre turned modern wedding venue in Green Cove Springs, Florida. This venue offers beautiful and spacious getting ready spaces, and both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces. This is the blank canvas perfect venue with lots of white walls and black accents that you can dress up with your own wedding theme. The Clay Theatre can host up to 200 guests outdoors, or 150 indoors seated at tables.

The Club at The Strand – Naples, Florida
The Club at The Strand is a private country club venue in Naples, Florida. Their outdoor ceremony space can be flipped and transformed into an outdoor reception space as well. The architecture is composed of modern elements, a grand staircase and neutral colors that make the perfect backdrop for photos. The Club at The Strand can host up to 180 guests.

The Alfond Inn – Winter Park, Florida
The Alfond Inn is a luxury wedding and event venue located in Winter Park, Florida. It is also a hotel, so your guests can easily stay on property for a full wedding weekend experience. The Alfond Inn has beautiful spaces both indoors and outdoors for your ceremony and reception, and the Winter Park area has no shortage of activities, restaurants and bars. This venue can host up to 240 guests.

Bella Collina – Montverde, Florida
Bella Collina is a luxury Florida wedding venue located in Montverde, Florida, not far from the Orlando area. This venue features Tuscan architecture and feels like a slice of Italy right in central Florida! Their grand lawn is the perfect spot for a wedding ceremony, and it can be transformed into a reception space while your guests enjoy cocktail hour at the reflecting pool, or you can host an indoor reception in their ballroom. Bella Collina can host up to 250 guests.

Hotel Haya – Ybor City/Tampa, Florida
Hotel Haya is a wedding venue located in Ybor City, right outside of Tampa, Florida. This historic boutique hotel also includes a restaurant and coffee shop. The venue space is industrial mixed with modern. The white brick makes the space feel light and airy, mixed with classic red brick to bring that industrial look. The hotel has spacious getting ready spaces. I highly recommend the presidential suite for all of its natural light! Hotel Haya can host up to 200 guests.

The White Room – Saint Augustine, Florida
The White Room sits in the heart of historic downtown Saint Augustine! With multiple venues within their space, this Florida wedding venue offers a variety of looks for your wedding day. Their white chapel is light and airy, they have a rooftop space that overlooks the water, and they even have a more industrial style indoor reception space. This venue can host up to 400 guests.
